After you’ve made your initial appointment at our Smithfield, RI dental office, you’ll visit with us to discuss the details of your porcelain veneers design and placement. We’ll discover your desires for your smile; the size, shape, and shade of your porcelain veneers will be determined by your facial esthetics and the end results you’re looking for. We’ll also examine your mouth to find out more about your oral health. Some patients require treatment for gum disease or cavities before we can complete the porcelain veneers process.
Your teeth will be prepared, modified to make room for the veneers, and we’ll take impressions to be sent to the dental lab. You then leave, and we send off the information so that your custom veneers can be created. Once the porcelain veneers come back from the dental lab, you’ll return to our Smithfield office for placement.
